Air Purifiers and Parrots

Published on July 02, 2020

What can you do about dusty parrots? This video is about how to effectively choose an air purifier filter to use in a household with a pet parrot.

African Grey, Cockatoo, and Cockatiel are some of the more dusty parrots because they use powder rather than oil to condition their feathers. However, all parrots shed some amount of pin feather sheaths, dander, feathers, beak, and food particles. A good air filter will help keep your air clean. In this video, I explain some things to look for in an air purifier system.
