Parrot Body Language Nobody is Talking About!

Published on November 18, 2024

Let me tell you about the parrot body language that nobody is talking about. It is not about their feathers or body posture. It is about their grip with their feet. You can sense a lot about how your parrot is feeling by how tight their grip is on your hand.

If something changes, like someone walking into the room, my macaw will momentarily perk up. Without even looking at her, I can sense the tightening grip she has with her feet. You can see how Rachel my Blue and Gold Macaw is perching on my hand and how her grip changes.

When parrots are alert, they usually tighten up their grip. Learn more about how to best understand your parrot from https://ParrotWizard.com
