I recorded this video back in February, but did not get around to posting it. I was waiting for things to go back to normal before posting but they never did. So, enjoy. The Hyacinth Macaw is the largest flighted parrot species. They are large and quite heavy birds. Anodorhynchus hyacinthinus are the largest of the Blue Macaws. Hyacinth Macaws tend to have a very easy going personality, but can vary with individuals. They are highly sought after as pets, but they require a huge enclosure and an equally huge budget to keep. Prices for Hyacinth Macaw babies can exceed $20,000. So there's $40,000 sitting in my lap right there.
