First Time Taking Quaker Parrot Out of Cage

Published on July 10, 2025

I'm taking my Quaker Parrot out of the cage for the first time! All the settling in and training of the first two weeks are paying off. It hasn't even been a full two weeks and he is already starting to let me take him out of the cage. I use my clicker, target stick, and handheld perch to practice coming out of the cage and going back in. It won't be long till he can spend quality time out of the cage and still be good about going back in when it is time.
