Let me introduce you to the 3 most useful tools for training a Macaw or any Parrot. With me, I have Rachel my Blue and Gold Macaw.

The 3 essential tools for parrot training are:
Clicker
Target Stick
Training Perch

The clicker is used to mark the moment the parrot does the right thing you are training to teach. The target stick is to point where you want the parrot to go or touch. And the Training Perch is the place for the parrot to be during the training exercise.
