Quaker Parrot vs Pink Cockatoo - Differences in BehaviorPublished on September 11, 2025The biggest difference in behavior between the Quaker Parrot and the Pink Cockatoo is that the Cockatoo is sllloooww. He needs to think things through, he moves more slowly. Whereas the Quaker Parrot is super fast. The Quaker makes decisions quickly, he moves fast, and he loses interest quickly as well. I need to continuously feed the Quaker Parrot treats or keep him occupied or he will lose interest and fly off. The Major Mitchell's Cockatoo is the exact opposite.
