First Time Training Kody Cape Parrot in a While

It's been a while since I've done any training with Kody the Cape Parrot. I've been really busy for a while and working with a lot of other birds. Kody is my wife's bird and she does all the training with him. However, now that I had some time to work with him again, let's see how he does training for me.

I start by practicing some target training with him. He remembers it very well and follows the target stick wherever I point. Before long I have him follow the target stick onto my hand to step up. He doesn't particularly like me but he is familiar with the training tools and loves treats. So, Kody does what I ask him to do with the clicker and target stick and earns treats. He does great.
