Cockatoo Got Really Good at Target TrainingPublished on November 12, 2025Major Mitchell's Cockatoo got really good at target training. Check out how he follows the target stick anywhere I point in his cage. This can be very useful for teaching him to step up and come out of the cage. But, it is also a very useful way to direct him where I want him to go in the cage. For example, if I want to change out a toy, I can target him over to the other side of the cage so I don't scare him and he doesn't bite me when I reach into the cage. Suggested Videos |
