I Kissed a Bird and I Liked It! All About Parrot Kisses

Kissing parrots is a thrill! They are cute, cuddly, stunning, and lovable. However, parrots are still undomesticated wild animals so a few precautions are necessary. Wondering how to kiss a parrot? Five steps to kissing a parrot:

1) Avoid the beak, kissing on the beak can go from kiss to bite!
2) Do remote kisses
3) Make kisses with your hand
4) Make friendship kisses, cheek to cheek
5) Kiss on the head, not the beak or body

Before you get near enough a parrot to kiss, make sure that the parrot is trained! It is super important that the parrot is comfortable with your hands and stepping up before you put your face potentially in harms way!
