He doesn't seem eager to come out of the cage because he gets scared. I have been making him comfortable coming toward the cage entrance by targeting him around the cage every day. I have also been targeting to step onto a perch that I am holding. As he gets used to stepping on a perch that I can hold, I am that much closer to being able to take him out of the cage and more importantly put him back in without any bites, frights, or fuss.
