Watch how I put him back to the cage effectively and stress free after 3 weeks with me. This Pink Cockatoo doesn’t step up and is generally quite a nervous bird. So, I use my clicker and target stick to direct him to go on a handheld perch I am holding by himself. Then I can gently carry him back to his cage and give him a treat for going back inside.
