This video is about the treats I use for training my Quaker Parrot and about what food I have been feeding him. Learn how to pick the best treat for any parrot and the role treats play in parrot training. Provide a healthy and nutritious balanced diet including fresh vegetables, pellets, and a little bit of seeds for a Monk Parakeet. This Quaker Parrot particularly likes Safflower seeds so I pick them out of his normal seed mix and reserve them exclusively for training treats. I discovered that he likes that safflower seeds the most and isn't too interested in the walnuts or pine nuts I also received.
